You held on tighter than the moon on the sea, letting your bitter poison wash over me. Ignoring my cries, you looked in my eyes, hurling me into debris. Coping with the sunrise, oh it strangles me. Lie alone, remember feeling no limbs, my face growing colder, never know when I'll need a shoulder to lie on. Betrayed by my imagination, gives me too much I can't bear. But as I bear it, I lose myself within the snare. Another world I've entered into, inadvertently. Tidal waves of black and gold are all I see. Lie alone, remember feeling no limbs, your face growing colder, never know when I'll need a shoulder to lie on.

The floor is on the ceiling, but we can't turn it around. We are prisoners of this time, waiting for our cells to come unwound. Do we stay or do we go, not our choice nobody knows. We're all a wreck, all forgotten oh- and it shows. What if I were a giant, would you stand tall, tall with me? Playing like a lion, claiming all, all that I can see. Would you say you're much too tall, you don't get to have it all. Can't forget who you'd be without those so small. Tromping those below with a mighty boot of lies, convince them that I'm the good one, starting their demise. Ignore every word they say, better learn it my way never underestimate the power of my mind. Control is the request, pray it won't be denied, 'cause this world can be bought and I will be the guide. Do we stay or do we go, not our choice nobody knows. We're all a wreck, all forgotten oh- and it shows. All the hatred making plain your guise, falling apart at the seams. Maybe I'd be in the wealthiest part, but oh it would haunt my dreams. Never could contain my greed, the curse of humanity. All my life spent wasting time, time better spent on me. What if I were a giant, would you stand tall, tall with me? Playing like the lions, claiming all, all that I can see. Would you say you're much too tall, you don't get to have it all. Can't forget who you'd be without those so small. Tromping those below with a mighty boot of lies, convince them that I'm the good one, starting their demise. Let it all fall away, away. Let it all fall away, away.

Wrap your fingers around in mine, hot like our old summertime. Drink me up, sip the cup, dip your tongue in a little of her wine. Fingers tingle as they mingle underneath a blanket made of stars I'm the cure, I did believe I'd be the one to heal all your scars. So fragile I am, nothing but a three legged stand naive, I was putty for the palm of your hand. Can't try to understand. April air freshened the glare of your bitter stare coming down the road, all I wanna do is find out why you had to come with such a load. So fragile I am, nothing but a three legged stand Naive, I was putty for the palm of your hand. So fragile I am, nothing but a three legged stand Naive, I was putty for the palm of your hand. Can't try to understand.

Don't know this lonesome road, don't know where it stops or slows, all I know is trees have eyes, crows talk and women lie. One dream won't land where another lies, songs don't end when they reach my eyes, dance in dark, dark of day, we come out with the sun to play. Fate does a hearty toll, empty out my weary soul, take away all disguise, don't chase a useless prize. Don't chase a useless prize. Hasty dreams fall apart, sleeping on a broken heart, I patch together some sense of self, hope it survives this bout of hell. In a mind's eye, no part of the world is blind, see's all my fault's and lies, leaving me without a sign. Fate does a hearty toll, empty out my weary soul, take away all disguise, don't chase a useless prize. Don't chase a useless prize.

What's that knocking at your door, drunken cushions on the floor, plot thickens, arise a difference, maybe all just a metaphor. Guitar is melting with the ceiling, shake out all your funny feelings, call time changes to the wind, let your heart stagnate, release and begin. Staring straight into the sun, finally a new life's begun. You can have all the eyes you want, I will only need the one. You can see a fuzzy outline, somewhere down the beach, reminding you of one time when life was out of reach from sticky greedy fingers who shape the bottom line, take you for what you're worth, not leave you with a dime. Staring straight into the sun, finally a new life's begun. You can have all the eyes you want, I will only need the one.

I fall, knees to the ground. Dance as light whispers through the sound. Flailing arms, forget it all. Lose myself, or all that I recall. We're lost, failing in this space we've all been tossed. Down the spiral of your head, take it all leave me for dead, take my mind, how you will, all your hope left on the sill, paper trails follow me, things aren't what they used to be. Stay the same, beauty tamed, change the vision not the game. In my head, I'm glancing through a mirrored wall. My endless curiosity has nearly claimed it all. I find my face in the wake, leaving you for my own soul's sake. We're lost, failing in this space we've all been tossed. Down the spiral of your head, take it all leave me for dead, take my mind, how you will, all your hope left on the sill, paper trails follow me, things aren't what they used to be. Stay the same, beauty tamed, change the vision not the game.

Pixels open their eyes to the sunrise, greens and golds collide, twisting heads with fireflies. On peut rester tous les jours, partout dans la coeur, on y va, on y va. Tes yeux me fait heureuse, mais la vrai est que j'ai perdu. Nevermind this shallow heart, all your lies depicted as an art. What you brought were gifts in a way, muddy and surly and ripped in that may, they clung to your chest like a weighted disaster, teetering, tottering, till you came back to this fakehearted life, this fakehearted life. Ne me pousser, je dois etre libre. Meme, si tu essaies, je ne vais pas concede. Viens, tu peut restes avec moi, on peut reve, t'es dans ma cour. What you brought were gifts in a way, muddy and surly and ripped in that may, they clung to your chest like a weighted disaster, teetering, tottering, till you came back to this fakehearted life, this fakehearted life.

Far away, land is long, never can say. Winding roads, land merges with the bay. Cushioned hills line the sky, why I left, I'll never know why. Never know why, I'm coming going all the time. I never can seem to make up my god damn mind. Where do I go from here, when the past calls me back so clear. You always told me, red sky comes with the best morning. Sitting on the dock, you gave me a sailor's warning. Never know why, I'm coming going all the time, I never can seem to make up my god damn mind. Where do I go from here, when the past calls me back so clear.

One Day 02:45
One day, maybe one day the skies all will clear, and the clouds of our love will disappear. One day, maybe one day I'll finally forget our love and I'll stop always wishing you were here. Sometimes it feels like there's no magic in the air, sparks and bubbles fall away, replaced by darkness and despair. But when the morning, she comes, feel the light touch your eyes. Find myself in the sun and I withstand my own mind. Can't seem to stay away longer than a month, body's crying out for all your warmth, oh dear. Empty, so empty, but begging for the past hoping that this twisted soul will leave me be. Sometimes it feels like there's no magic in the air, sparks and bubbles fall away, replaced by darkness and despair. But when the morning, she comes, feel the light touch your eyes. Find myself in the sun and I withstand my own mind.

Stop making sense to me, drain all my sanity, stealing life from reality. Pour out all your guilt, and come down from the stilts you've built yourself. Wallow in an endless pit, never will get out of it if you don't at least try. Look up in the clouds and notice all that surrounds you in your little world. I've fallen into this trap, or it landed in my lap. Never did see it coming. Now sense is all I make, I have myself escaped. Stop making sense to me, your face is all I see, take away all this shit that's me. Back to the start of it, when we could never slip cause good was all I knew. Now it's all a trap, life's crawling up my back and I'm left empty heart and all. But since I understand life's not part of a plan I can't bring myself to mind. I've fallen into this trap, or it landed in my lap. Never did see it comin'. Now sense is all I make, life has myself escaped. I've fallen into this trap, or it landed in my lap. Never did see it comin'. Now sense is all I make, life has myself escaped.

Early Winter 02:34
I found a way over the bridge last Saturday. Cleared shrubs and all, early winter's fall. Grass tickles skin, reminds me of this dream I'm in. It drips into me, and now I'm all I'll ever be. Maybe life will throw me a line, you'll get yours and I'll get mine. Of it all, you're the thing clinging to my stale remains. Come again my winter friend, if only we could still pretend, allow our skewed souls to amend, break the vicious circle of our trend. Maybe life will throw me a line, you'll get yours and I'll get mine.
